Hey, fellow animal enthusiasts and Halloween aficionados! We at Texas Zoos are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news that combines the best of both worlds. Our friends over at the Fort Worth Zoo are rolling out the orange carpet for their annual Halloween daytime extravaganza, “Boo at the Zoo,” and trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
Mark your calendars for October 27th, 28th, and 29th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Fort Worth Zoo transforms into a Halloween haven where the wild things roam and the spooktacular spirits of the animal kingdom come to life. And guess what? This hauntingly delightful experience is included with your regular Zoo admission or membership!
This year, “Boo at the Zoo” is turning up the fun factor, thanks to Higginbotham. Prepare to embark on a trick-or-treating adventure like no other, with the zoo’s enchanting inhabitants as your audience. Keeper chats, a kids’ craft zone, and musical entertainment will keep the vibes upbeat and the smiles wide.
But wait, there’s more! Special characters will be strolling the main path, ready to surprise and delight. And let’s not forget the Halloween-themed live animal stage show at the Outdoor Learning Theater – it’s set to be a showstopper!
Now, let’s talk treats. Every guest will receive six complimentary treat coupons to indulge their sweet tooth at various treat stations sprinkled around the Zoo. Need more? Extra treat coupons will be available for purchase.
And for all our creative souls out there, here’s your chance to shine! The Zoo is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Adorn your pumpkin with paint, stencils, and accessories (no carving, please – we want these beauties to last!) and submit your masterpiece between October 1st and 20th. The chosen pumpkins will grace the Zoo’s Pumpkin Patch for all to admire!
So, dust off those costumes (just remember, adults, keep those lovely faces visible!) and join us for a day of wild fun, delightful scares, and animal encounters that will make this Halloween unforgettable. For more details, head over to Fort Worth Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo.
See you there, where the wild and wondrous roam, for a Halloween celebration that’s truly bone to be wild! 🎃👻🦁
